Group & Family Self-Defense Classes
Bring your inner circle together to learn comprehensive, holistic safety strategies and self-defense skills. We design fully customized, interactive workshops that meet the exact needs, comfort levels, and age ranges of your specific group.
We proudly accept Crime Victim Compensation for private group sessions and provide specialized training for youth, teenagers, and families.
Build Shared Confidence and Collective Safety
True peace of mind happens when the people you love are on the same page. Our group and family self-defense classes allow you to learn, practice, and communicate in a completely comfortable, familiar environment with your friends, family, or neighborhood pod. Instead of navigating rigid, competitive martial arts schools, we bring real-world safety strategies directly to your group. We strip away fear-based lecturing and replace it with cooperative, trauma-informed empowerment training that strengthens your collective boundaries, builds mutual trust, and makes safety accessible to everyone in your circle.
Why Group and Family Self-Defense Classes Work
Open & Safe Communication
Establish a shared vocabulary around safety. Our workshops create a non-judgmental space for families and friend circles to discuss real-world boundaries, safety concerns, and action plans transparently.
Cooperative, Shared Practice
Physical defense is easier to learn with people you trust. Training together allows your group or family to practice setting verbal boundaries and physical counters comfortably, turning safety into a shared habit.
Fully Customized Curriculums
No generic templates here. We match our training modules directly to the real-life situations your specific group encounters, whether navigating a high school campus, solo traveling, or managing neighborhood safety.
Accessible & Adaptive for All Ages
From young children to older adults, we adjust every single physical movement to match what each body can uniquely do, ensuring that everyone walks away feeling genuinely capable and empowered.
Signature Group Self-Defense Classes Tailored to Your Crew
Every private self-defense class we teach is built from the ground up to match your collective goals. Here are a few examples of the customized group workshops we regularly facilitate throughout the Denver area:
Intergenerational Family Safety Classes

Family self-defense classes designed specifically for guardians, children, and teens to establish safe everyday practices, practice boundary setting, increase communication, and build mutual confidence.
Private Youth & Teen Workshops

Gather a neighborhood pod or close friend circle. We give young people the tools to confidently communicate boundaries, recognize warning signs, and safely prevent violence or abduction.
College-Bound & Gap-Year Travel Preparedness

Essential safety prep for young adults entering campus life or traveling abroad. We focus heavily on reducing risky behavior, recognizing dating violence early, setting hard boundaries, and practicing physical defense skills, especially tailored for girls, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ youth.
Book Club & Pop Culture Combat Sessions

Have you read a book or watched a movie that inspired you to learn how to fight? Bring us to your next social meeting and we’ll have your entire group learning functional combat skills inspired by your favorite fictional worlds, fight like a Valkyrie or vampire slayer in no time!
Trauma-Informed Small Group Classes & Survivor Spaces
Healing and boundary restoration are deeply powerful when done alongside a trusted support system. If you are a survivor working with a Victim’s Advocate, your county may have crime victim compensation funds available to use toward support services. We are happy to facilitate a customized, trauma-informed safety class for you and several close friends or family members paid for through your county’s compensation funds. Topics can focus around self-defense, verbal de-escalation, emergency planning, or any specific comfort goals your inner circle needs addressed.

Because our workshops are highly interactive and personalized, we find that groups of 4 to 12 participants allow for the perfect balance of individual attention and group dynamic. However, we can adapt our curriculum to accommodate larger family circles or community clubs upon request.
We come directly to you! We can host custom workshops in the comfort of your living room, a garage, a backyard space, a local neighborhood community center, or even a public park depending on your group’s preferences.
Not at all. Empowerment self-defense is designed for real life. All you and your group members need to wear are comfortable, everyday clothes that you can move around in naturally. No special gear, gloves, or uniforms are ever required.
